We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead Theatre Practitioner/ODP to lead our team, working at our Pines Hospital, based in Sharston, Manchester
- **JOB PURPOSE**:_

To work with and assist the consultant in which ever speciality you are practicing, ie the surgeon or the anaesthetist in providing safe, individual and holistic care for patients throughout their stay in the operating department.
- **ACCOUNTABILITIES**:_

The overall objectives will be to:

- Promote and maintain a high standard of care to patient
- To assist the anaesthetist and support them with any knowledge of procedures being carried out.
- The post holder will have to ensure the correct controlled storage and administration of drugs and medication In accordance with Transform’s policies and procedures.
- The environment must be safe at all times and the post holder must be compassionate towards the patient and their relatives.
- The post holder must undertake duties allocated and implemented by the Manager.
- Safeguard any confidential information and ensure that any that is acquired is handled with integrity and confidence
- Participate in an on-call rota system
- Attend and participate in staff meetings whenever possible.
- Ensure that the anaesthetic rooms are well stocked and ready for the next day.

Posts are available on a full time basis (37.5hrs) or part-time basis over 7 days and the applicants should be flexible in their working arrangements as we operate on a changing rota basis, including evenings and weekends to meet with patient needs.

Applicants should be registered nurses with scrub experience or registered ODP.

**Salary**: Up to £42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
- CQC: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Registration (required)
