Robertson Bell is pleased to be partnering with this public sector organisation who are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a permanent basis. With the fantastic opportunity to develop professionally and assume more responsibilitiesover time, this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is looking to further their management accounting skills in a closely-knit team and is excited about the prospect of learning from an experienced line manager who will invest in someone ambitious.The role will be focusing on all management accounting procedures for their given division and will provide valuable financial management support to Project Managers, including management of large complex budgets.

**They main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include**:

- Full responsibility of the production of management accounts for your given portfolio of departments.
- Prepare detailed month-end reports, identify, and investigate any variances.
- Presenting monthly reports to senior managers and project management teams.
- Provide financial management support to project managers, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting on expenditure for various differing funding streams.
- Undertake analysis on ad hoc capital expenditure project.
- Assist with the budget setting and monitoring process.

- Experienced in producing a full set of management accounts.
- An active studier towards a relevant accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).

- Strong team-player who enjoys being challenged.
