**Volunteer Opportunity**: Enhance the Experience of Dementia Patients

Are you compassionate, dedicated, and want to make a difference? Join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of dementia patients.

Your empathy and commitment will enhance the experience for both patients and staff, making everyone feel valued, supported, and respected. This role will involve liaising with ward staff to provide necessary resources to patients and Spend time with dementia patients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities using provided resources.

MAIN TASKS

Distributing resources to wards/ patients
- liaising with the ward staff to see what they need
- Keeping notice boards up to date
- Keeping leaflet stands filled up with relevant information
- Supporting patients on wards with dementia which would involve talking to them and using the resources

We have 250 fantastic volunteers working hard to support the services that we deliver to our patients. As a Trust, we help look after 370,000 people in our local area & give specialist care to 1.5 million people across Lancashire & Cumbria.
