Amplifi Talent are partnering with a high growth SME based in Livingston to recruit a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. Applications are invited from commercially focussed finance professionals who have previously worked in the SME sector, ideally at Head of Finance / Financial Controller level.

The business is diverse in nature, providing a complimentary suite of services to a sizeable client base. Led by a forward looking, entrepreneurial management team, the company is always seeking out new opportunities to add value, and move into new and profitable service areas. The Head of Finance will be a key hire, working closely on a day-to-day basis with the Managing Director, acting as a commercial sounding board for new ideas and ventures, whilst ensuring effective financial management underpins the operations of the business.

**Key requirements include**:

- Professional Accounting Qualification
- Experience of leading a finance teaM/Function
- Commercial and business acumen - understanding why WIP, Invoice Management, VAT, and strong financial and operational management are important in an SME environment
- Previous Xero experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Growth focussed mind-set
- Comfortable contributing at a senior level
