We are looking to recruit to a Senior Practitioner role (permanent) based within the Discharge to Assess South Team. You’ll need to be resourceful, resilient, proactive, and prepared for a working day with plenty of challenges and variety.

The work is fast paced and provides excellent opportunities for growth and development_._ You will have support from your management team & service manager.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the team alongside the Manager. Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous but not essential as sometimes we will need you to deputise and manage competing demands, and you will be expected to provide supervision and guidance to Practitioners with regards to case work, demonstrating applicable knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks.

You will need to be prepared to take the lead and coordinate s42 Safeguarding Enquiries under the Care Act (2014). Multi
- disciplinary working skills are key to the role as in D2A, we work together to promote a whole service approach with our internal & external colleagues.

You will also assist the Manager in providing high quality services to service users, families and carers, in accordance with relevant legislation and policy; and operate as the Senior Professional within the team.
