My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to be responsible for all aspects of Purchase Ledger and to work as part of a team managing the efficient and accurate accounting of client funds.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implementation of new suppliers, setting up and verifying all relevant information
- Processing invoices onto the accounts system in a timely manner to ensure completeness and accuracy of records, including the coding of invoices to the correct nominals
- Resolving invoice queries
- Reconciling supplier statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing supplier payments for authorisation
- Preparing and supplying informative remittances
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Liaise with utility companies and provide the correct information on an adhoc basis
- Identifying any anomalies on the supplier ledger and resolving

KEY SKILLS:

- Previous Purchase Ledger experience essential
- Computer literate, training on the specific software we use will be provided
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
- Client focussed
- Team player
- Strong written and verbal communications and inter
- personal skills
- Highly organised, ability & flexibility to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to very tight deadlines
- Experience of commercial property accounting an advantage but not essential
