European Import Specialist

Kenect Recruitment are currently looking for a European Import Specialist to join a well established company based in Lichfield.

Job Title: European Import Specialist

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

Due to continued growth they are offering a fantastic opportunity to join their existing and established European Import team at our Lichfield depot. You will be liaising with Customers, European Partners and Suppliers to arrange the movement of freight from origin to its destination both Nationally and Internationally.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with our European Partners and Customers to find resolutions to any arising challenges within agreed SLA’s.
- Ensuring the accurate entry of data into the operational system, including importer declarant details and clearance instructions
- Check all shipment documentation, including hazardous paperwork, escalate any discrepancies with our onsite DGSA.
- First point of customer escalation for Partners, Suppliers & Customers both internal and external, developing a strong and productive relationship
- Spotting and developing additional revenue and business opportunities. Provide quotations to customers for European road freight consignments
- Help to contribute and adhere to our highly acclaimed ISO accreditations for Quality, Energy and Environmental Management

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
