**Job Summary**:The Salvation Army’s William Booth College is an iconic building, designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, and has been at the heart of Salvation Army leadership training since 1929. We are at the forefront of delivering education and training programmes for The Salvation Army's staff and volunteers from across the United Kingdom and further afield**. **We provide residential accommodation, various meeting rooms, and catering to a wide variety of Salvation Army and non-Salvation Army groups. This can include long term accommodation for officers living on site, to a one
- or two-night stay whilst attending an event.

We would like it to be a great place to stay, meet and learn and are seeking an efficient hospitality-savvy individual to oversee many aspects of the guest experience. Historically, the site has been used at weekends for events, therefore weekend work might be required on a rota basis.

**What you'll be doing...**_ _Reporting to the Operations Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following;
- Working with the Conference Coordinator handling incoming event, conference enquiries from the initial enquiry to post event follow up.
- Exceeding customers’ expectations and being motivated to continually develop service levels.
- Face to face client meetings.
- Contribute to strategic planning and client engagement.
- Maintain high-level of professionalism and competence when dealing with clients.
- Obtain client feedback and make appropriate changes for improvements.Manage meeting request leads, contracts and confirmations to clients.
- Manage Audio Visual equipment and Internet Protocol TVs.
- Using a keen eye for detail to ensure all event details are translated to the system and handed over to the Operations Team.

The Hospitality Coordinator is the initial face of this interaction - coordinating both internal and external events. It’s a role where every day is different, and opportunities to influence events and to find satisfaction in a job well done are frequent.
