**Key Responsibilities**
- You will be responsible to develop, monitor and report on progress against the Natural Capital strategy for Scotland, undertaking reviews as necessary. In addition, new income streams and opportunities for geographic expansion should be considered, so tooopportunities to introduce systematic efficiencies and opportunities for innovation relevant to your field of expertise. Be a specialist within your field, with awareness of national policy priorities and frameworks, environmental, sustainability and naturalcapital themes.
- To promote and, where necessary, lead on the attendance of the discipline at national, regional and office events and business development initiatives. The role will focus on the growth of the discipline and the service lines it encapsulates. You’ll beresponsible for identifying generic opportunities for improving profitability, leverage the knowledge and skills already existing within the wider Savills teams and managing debtors and disbursements within agreed levels.
- Identify and monitor rural, agricultural and environmental policy which could impact Savills clients. Work with the Rural research team to prepare and deliver written and social content as well as presentations to a wide range of clients and stakeholders.Researching and recommending the colleges, universities and establishments from whom we might recruit suitable individuals to the division and maintaining close contacts with such places. Recommending the training courses and content needed to support thestaff within the Scottish team as well as making recommendations for (non region specific) internal training programmes to the HR team.
- Championing internal communication to the wider Scottish business on Natural Capital by providing clarity of strategy, identifying opportunities and being a reference point for colleague and client queries in this space. Monitor and make recommendationsrelating to any generic complaints and/or claims that affect the service provided by the services within your team.
