**Job Purpose**:To strategically lead the delivery of Institute accredited courses and contribute to the development of professional development opportunities for colleagues across the Trust and wider educational landscape. Working across a range of educational settings and with a range of educational institutions and external partners.

Principle Duties
- To strategically lead delivery of accredited courses, including recruitment of participants, working directly with lead providers, planning course delivery, leading facilitation teams and quality assurance.
- To fulfil the role of ITT Lead Mentor ensuring the quality of mentoring, accuracy of assessments and providing direct support for trainee and mentor teachers where needed.
- To work with the wider Institute team to develop and enhance the Institute professional development offer for Academy Transformation Trust Colleagues.
- To champion professional development for all colleagues, valuing its pivotal role in academy improvement and continually striving to be research informed.
- To facilitate Institute accredited courses, setting a high standard for course material delivery and participant support.

Strategic Delivery of Accredited Courses
- To lead on the recruitment of participants for our accredited courses including building partnerships with schools and Trusts within our geographical area.
- To be responsible for working directly with our lead providers, representing the Institute values and ensuring effective relationships with educational institutions.
- To strategically plan and coordinate course delivery whilst maintaining fidelity with the course and our Institute values.
- To recruit and retain teams of effective facilitators to ensure high quality course delivery.
- To quality assure the delivery of our accredited courses against the facilitation framework and provide detailed feedback and support for facilitators.
- To be responsible for teams of facilitators, supporting their continued development, coordinating and delivering professional development activities, ensuring engagement and providing continued support.

ITT Lead Mentor Responsibilities
- Fulfil the role and responsibilities of ITT lead mentor as outlined by the ITT provider.
- Be responsible for coordinating and executing the support visits for trainees and their men
- tors.
- To support trainees in their school contexts and identify and respond to challenges as they arise.
- To be responsible for the quality assurance of mentoring and work closely with mentors, providing guidance and support to ensure effective mentoring provision for all trainees.
- To ensure the accuracy of judgements by a process of quality assurance and support.

Trust Professional Development Responsibilities
- To embrace and champion our Institute vision of continued professional development for all.
- To ensure that colleagues are offered world class 21st century learning and professional development opportunities.
- To deliver professional development opportunities both within individual academies and across the Trust, including webinars, face-face delivery and development of resources.
- To provide expertise and support for strategic planning of instructional coaching in academies and be responsible for delivering coaching on coaching training.
- To act as a coach, providing leadership and instructional coaching as directed to enable rapid development of colleagues’ skills.
- To plan and teach materials to groups of students, including co-delivery and demonstration of highly effective classroom practice.
- To establish a culture of professional learning and development through interactions with colleagues and external partners.
- To establish a culture and systems which ensure that high quality communication forms the basis interactions across our Trust and with external partners.
- To maintain positive relationships and continue to build new relationships with partner schools and Trusts, training providers, external experts, external bodies and teaching associations placing the Institute at the forefront of professional development in education.

Facilitation
- To facilitate a range of accredited courses as required, including ITT, ECF and NPQ.
- To fulfil the role of lead and visiting fellow, demonstrating facilitation expertise, and setting the standard for facilitation across our suite of courses.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £52,073.00-£56,082.00 per year
