Maintenance Technician

New year, new start? Acorn is looking for an experience Maintenance Technician to join one of our clients within the food industry based in Mold
Role: Maintenance Technician

**Salary**: £32500/£35000 + shift allowance
Hours: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating weekly
In this role, you will be required to support and carry out maintenance activities for the manufacturing and technology departments; being preventative and predictive is key to this role, as predicting any red flags and preventing them from happening assistswith the smooth running of daily production.
Duties include:

- Ensure preventative maintenance and repairs of material handling systems and equipment to minimise downtime
- Comply with all appropriate regulations and requirements under policy and legislation
- Provide support and input to CAPEX projects as required
Skills required:

- Demonstrated problem solving techniques on both electric and mechanical equipment including control systems
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance techniques
- HNC or above in Electrical Engineering
- ONC or above in Mechanical Engineering
- Multi-skilled desirable with electrical bias
