What you'll do
You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality print ready artwork for various retail propositions and instore signage projects. Working closely with the Print Production Manager, you will manage all allocated jobs from brief to sign off, ensuring files are artworked and ready for printing, meeting our standards. Your responsibilities will include producing creative designs aligned with our brand guidelines, developing project install packs for smooth project delivery in stores, and offering technical advice regarding pre-press. Strong stakeholder and project management skills are essential to ensure deadlines are met with a high level of professionalism and clear communication of progress updates. With your graphic design degree or equivalent qualification and proficiency in design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, you will bring an understanding of print production, retail environments, and in-store communication, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to brand guidelines.
Who you are
As a Graphic Designer and Presentation Specialist within Sainsbury's Property Team, you are a highly skilled and creative professional with a strong background in graphic design and retail environments. With a degree or industry-recognised equivalent qualification in graphic design, you possess expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign for the production of print-ready artwork. Your experience in print production, artworking, and layout, combined with your understanding of Sainsbury's brand design language and guidelines, allows you to deliver visually compelling and on-brand designs that enhance the customer journey in our stores. Your attention to detail, stakeholder management skills, and ability to meet deadlines ensure the successful delivery of projects, while your proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint enables you to create engaging visual packs for communicating with the wider business. Furthermore, your keen eye for detail and commitment to professionalism contribute to the high-quality output and success within the team.
