MFT’s Employee Health and Wellbeing (EHW) service provides specialist advisory services and support programmes to all MFT employees and managers, as well as to a variety of external clients. As the largest acute NHS Trust in the UK, MFT has over 28,000 employees, working across our ten hospitals and community services. The vision of the EHW Service is to provide efficient, highly professional and cost-effective services which meet the common and often complex occupational health challenges faced by our large and diverse workforce.
We are currently increasing our service delivery model which means that we are undergoing some exciting changes. MFT recognises the value of EHW and so funding for development has been agreed to support our building for the future. Are you the person we are looking for to help with this new vision?
Occupational medicine has been at the forefront of Employee Health and Wellbeing during the pandemic and here at MFT the EHW Service is part of a national trailblazing pilot in terms of developing that arena - Growing OH. Working within our service delivery teams, the main priority is to create a dynamic approach to maximise employee health, wellbeing, and productivity.
Taking a business partnership approach, you will work alongside EHW colleagues and the senior management team, to provide proactive EHW services to the Trust as well as supporting external contracts. We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals, who are IT literate and able to develop systems and processes.
MFT is England’s largest NHS Trust with a turnover of £2.5bn & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts. We’re creating an exceptional integrated health & social care system for the 1 million patients who rely on our services every year.
