Job Summary

The EHW Service provides specialist advice and support to MFT employees and managers, as well as external clients. We offer a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach, comprising of Senior Managers, Occupational Physicians, Fitness for Work Advisers, Clinic Nurses, Psychological Support Therapists, and EHW Physiotherapists.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Deliver the Occupational Therapy aspect of the fitness for work service, supporting both physical and mental health.
  • Provide quality workplace assessments, functional capability assessments, and supporting reasonable adjustments and return to work plans.
  • Engage with managers, providing guided sessions on the importance of effective self-care, rehabilitation, and strategies to support staff with health conditions.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Fitness for Work Practitioner. The successful candidate will have a degree level or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, current registration with the relevant professional body, and experience in Occupational Health or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and monitor employee rehabilitation programmes, including return to work plans.
  • Work within an Occupational Health or Employee Health & Wellbeing setting, conducting case conferences and multi-disciplinary team discussions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including managers and employees.
