**Job description**:
Edvance is a joint venture between EDF and Framatome, an EPCC established in 2018 in charge of the design (basic design) and the realization (studies, procurement, erection, testing and commissioning) of nuclear islands for new projects in France and worldwide.
In particular, Edvance is responsible for the design of the nuclear island for the Hinkley Point C project and for the design/procurement/erection/commissioning of the EPR2, an optimized EPR model incorporating the feedback from the ongoing EPR projects. It will also carry out new nuclear offers and projects in France and abroad.

Due to our ongoing growth and success, we are looking to recruit a** Facilities/ Building Coordinator** to work along our “Construction Management Team”.
The position will, on behalf on NNB (HPC) and will drive, help and support MEH alliance.

This is a principal role with the primary objectives to identify and eliminate any issues prior to the work commencing on the site and will involve coordinating with the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Multi-Discipline teams to perform the role.
- The Building Coordinator will be overall responsible for the following:
Conducting integrated and cross-cutting coordination and reviews of construction preparation.
- Preparing the MEH Alliance installation activities.
Resolving/Managing MEH Alliance technical queries. (Constraints are managed in a balanced and integrated mode to ensure the activities on the site run safely and smoothly)
- Managing interfaces with MEH teams.
- Maintaining the Risk Registers.
- Preparing and analyzing Work Orders.
- Preparing outgoing and analyzing incoming contract variations.
- Managing the Early Warnings and associated Risk Reduction Meetings.
- Gathering project data and producing reports for management review.
- Defining buildings handover from Civil to MEH (access, lifting, coating, steelwork sequence etc).
- Development of Level 3/4 schedule in the building with the relevant stakeholders, including the interfaces with other delivery Programmes.
- Leading the strategic planning with an 18 months look ahead, consolidate and derisk the schedule.
- Defining installation impacts due to MEH HO1, HO2, HO3 progress and equipment delivery.
- Maintaining and developing the contractual events log.
- Developing and improve contract management tools.
- Contributing to annual cash flow forecasting.
- Implementing lessons learnt and share good practice on contract management within EDVANCE.

Safety is the overriding priority for any activity performed during Pre-Construction activities which includes nuclear safety as well as Industrial Safety. Planning the work must also recognize the importance of a strong Nuclear Safety and Quality culture and the importance of a right first-time attitude.

The position may be required to travel to other company locations in the UK and possibly Europe as required.

**Profile**:
To be considered, we will require the following qualifications, skills and experience:

- Experienced Construction Engineer with a background in erection/maintenance of plant.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in equivalent missions.
- Knowledge and experienced in Mechanics, Electricity, HVAC and contracts management are essential.
- Solid project management experience is required.
- Strong technical interest, particularly in the field of construction or maintenance of industrial installations is required for this position.
- Ability to translate field operational experience and integrate REX.
- Expert in the use of computer tools is essential: manipulation of massive data under Excel, 3D model, 3D viewer etc
- NEC3 or similar Target Price contract experience is a bonus.
- Strong interest for new challenges and sizing projects.
- Successful experience in multi-cultural and international projects would also be appreciated.
