Lead Practice Education Facilitator

Are you an experienced Nurse, Midwife or Allied Healthcare registered professional with a passion for education? Within pre-registration education we are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated educator that can lead our team and inspire our future workforce. The post holder will support practice development across all professions in the role of Lead Practice Education Facilitator, with a focus on pre-registration learning in Maternity Services. Experience in Midwifery is desirable but not essential.
We have one full time 37.5-hour post which will be based at our Colchester Hospital Site, however cross site working will be essential to the role.
This is an exciting post which will join our existing team providing support to professional and education staff, ensuring the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments within East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust.

**This will involve working with us to**:
- Support and develop our Practice Education Facilitators within our team and educators across the Trust
- Develop practice learning opportunities across the Nursing, Midwifery and AHP workforce
- Collaborate with universities to support partnership working in the delivery of pre-registration education
- Participate in curriculum design to shape the delivery of programmes to ensure they are responsive to changes in healthcare
- Support the delivery of a positive culture of learning across the organisation where education is valued, and equality and diversity embraced.
- A registered Nurse, Midwife or Allied Healthcare Professional
- Passionate about high quality clinical care
- Has post registration qualification in education or willing to undertake
- Has experience of supporting students and developing practice
- Able to lead and embrace change
- Clinically current
- Highly organised
- Team player who also works under own initiative
- Skilled with IT to deliver training, action plans and reports
- Highly motivated and a supportive nature
- Innovative in their approach when delivering training and implementing programmes
- Has proven ability to deliver on projects.

- Support and facilitate inter-professional learning opportunities wherever appropriate
- Facilitating the development and ensuring a sufficient provision of assessors/ practice supervisors across relevant service areas; providing supervision and support structures, building education in practice capability, consistency and efficiency
- Lead on the structuring, design and delivery of opportunities in a practice for pre-registration students
- To support coaches, assessors/educators and the wider team in adjusting models of mentoring, coaching and support to reflect changes in practice learning and student numbers
- To work in partnership with HEIS in the planning, review and development of pre-registration programmes, ensuring appropriate to workforce requirement
