**Job Overview**:
Lead and supervise a small team of warehouse personnel to ensure the provision of a professional incoming goods, storage and despatch service to customers. Contribute to the success of the company by supporting the Mangers in the day to day running of both warehouses. Ensure that Health & Safety requirements are met and that the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and co-ordinate the incoming, safe storage and despatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure effective, safe and accurate stock management to include space allocation, stock rotation, stock labelling.
- Supervise a small team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Plan, organise and allocate tasks to ensure the completion of all daily warehouse duties.
- Plan and co-ordinate the accurate & efficient storage of 400 pallets of stock in our deep store racking system.
- Oversee all goods in/out processes.
- Organise and ensure regular and accurate stock counts.
- Implement the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices within the warehouse, particularly in relation to heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Oversee the use of forklifts and other equipment for efficient materials handling
- Overall management of our secondary storage site.
- This is a hands on role and you will be required to take on all general warehouse duties alongside your colleagues, such as picking, packing, loading vehicles.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent oral & written communication as well as mental maths skills are essential
- Excellent attention to detail is imperative to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills
- **MUST** have a current Counterbalance FLT Licence
- **MUST** have a Full Clean Driving Licence
- Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse environment
- High level of honesty and integrity
- A strong work ethic and a good level of fitness as the role is physical
