We are working in partnerships with a market leading beauty company, who are currently Recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the Picking and Packing team on their PM shift to join their team in Bootle.

THE ROLE

  • Responsible for the daytoday operations of the pick & pack and order processing team ensuring the workflow and supervision of the team is effective.
  • Monday to Friday working 5 days a Week.
  • Working 1 in 4 Saturday additional day off during the week.
  • Shifts are 14:00pm to 22:00pm

Rates of Pay
- £12.94ph 14:00 till 18:00

  • Increased rate after 18:00

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Key holder, follow the company's security procedures when opening or closing.
  • Daily Shift briefings, ensuring staff are kept up to date with compliance and performance information. Include celebrating success and challenges.
  • Collate daily information of customer orders and recording performance on data boards.
  • Oversee the picking 7 Packing, order processing operation ensuring productivity and high standards are met in line with company compliance. Liaise with customer service regarding picking errors and deal with repeat offenders.
  • Liaise with the warehouse manager to ensure adequate resources are in place to fulfil business requirements including promotions and key seasonal trends.
  • Ensure performance management of the pick and pack team is in place including staff reviews. Also support the warehouse manager with disciplinary procedures in line with company policies.
  • Multi skilling the pick and pack team, identifying knowledge gaps through the training matrix to protect the business and sales.
  • Action a progression plan for your key team members, creating a clear career path.
  • Head up projects as and when required. Projects will be focused on productivity, efficiency and cost planning etc.
  • Aim to cover the warehouse manager duties in his absence.

Desirable

  • Proven track record in a similar role, with ideally a minimum of 4 years' experience.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Computer literate.
