**The role**:
As a Support Worker you will provide a safe warm, caring and stable environment for those children and young people between 11 - 17 years whom residential accommodation is the preferred or necessary option. You will help create a culture and ethos withinthe home in which the needs of the young people are paramount, and they are encouraged to develop, mature and grow.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist in ensuring a safe, secure and accepting environment for children and young people is maintained

Receive children/young people admitted to the residential home in a sensitive/caring manner.

Confident and able to develop and maintain good relationships with parents/family of young people.

**Applicant Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.

**Experience**:1+ years working in childcare settings.

**Compliance**:Up to date DBS.

**Hours**:140 hours a month on a rota basis covering nights from 9.30pm to 7.30am
