**Responsible to**: Part 145 Maintenance Manager

**Role Summary**

Coordinate the required training for the maintenance department in the most efficient and economical way.
Keep staff records up-to-date and make sure that all Part 145 staff are in compliance with regulations.

Working with the LMM and BMM to ensure the hangar and line station facilities and personnel remain compliant with the current H&S regulations.

**Responsibilities**

The position holder is responsible for the below mentioned duties and reports directly to the Part 145 MM.
- Schedules the training requirements for all staff and/or training instructors
- Organises all training needed to fulfil the requirements for all Part 145 staff, and liaises with staff to ensure they are informed of the planned training requirements.
- Ensuring the maintenance staff training files are updated and valid at all times in compliance with the UK CAA and EASA regulations.
- Monitor the audit plan and conduct safety observation audits on a regular basis and report findings in the Compliance Monitoring System.
- Perform follow up actions as required for any open observations, including and recommendations for improving safety in the work place.
- Educate employees on safety standards and provide health and safety information to the staff
- Maintain documentation of the company’s safety procedures and accidents or related events.
- Continuous development of the training department’s procedures and processes, with the support of the Part 145 management team.

**Required Skills/Experience/knowledge**:

- Effective interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of UK CAA/EASA regulations, including personnel requirements
- Good communication skills (both written & verbal)

Knowledge of UK H&S Regulations
