Sweet Cherry Publishing is an independent children’s publisher based in Leicester. We are now looking for an office-based Marketing Assistant to join our sales team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the planning and implementation of marketing and publicity campaigns
- Scheduling a calendar of social media and blog posts and engaging on social media platforms
- Bringing new ideas to the team for B2B and B2C marketing
- Assisting with WordPress website management
- Assisting with marketing and publicity mailings
- Researching new marketing leads and nurturing existing relationships
- Provide general administrative support to the department

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Passionate about the book/publishing industry
- Knowledge of the different sectors of the children’s book market
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to proofread and pay attention to detail
