**Dosh **has an exciting opportunity available for a** Financial Advocate **to join our well-established and committed team in **Taunton, Somerset**.** You will join us on a** full-time, permanent basis**, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **up to £28,164.99** per annum pro rata.**
**Who are we?**
Dosh is a not-for-profit company that supports people with a learning disability to have more control and more independence over their money. Dosh is a specialist company within the Thera Group and provides support to people with a learning disability in England, Scotland and Wales. The company was set up in 2007.
**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a** Financial Advocate **to act in the role of appointee and financial advocate for people with a learning disability.
As an advocate you will support these individuals to manage their finances and claim benefits.
Although this is a home-based role, you will visit the individuals and their circles of support, every 3 months and do this with support from the administrative and finance teams based in Grantham Dosh office.
This will enable them to reach decisions, make informed choices and express their views, giving them more control and independence with their money.
**This is a home-based role - We operate flexi time and flexible working.**

The successful applicant must show experience and knowledge of financial services and the benefits system.
