Due to continued growth we are looking for an additional Buyer to join our existing projects team. You will be responsible for supporting the Purchasing Manager across multiple sites with the complete management of direct and indirect procured products, with an annual spend of £50 million plus. The development, creation and documentation of any processes required to facilitate the management of all purchased materials on all sites.

Duties will include but not limited to:

- Raising purchase requisitions and orders in the line with demand
- Produce RFQ’s/ITT’s evaluate and make recommendations to the Purchasing Manager
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Solving supplier issues
- Expediting of open orders and ensuring internal stakeholders are kept up to date with progress
- Supplier Negotiation
- Creating, developing and managing cost effective contracts and monitoring them in terms of budget and key performance indicators
- Target company expenditure categories to deliver scale opportunities, using scale to deliver sustainable savings, supplier agility and operational efficiencies
- Work with key internal stockholders to re-examine/challenge existing supply solutions and define credible alternative solutions that fit the business needs.
- Sourcing a wide range of foundry, engineering, fabrication and machining components.
- Identifying products that are repeat requirements and creating specific internal purchasing codes, rather than generic ones

Ideally you will be CIPS Qualified and have experience within an Engineering or Fabrication or Foundry environment.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
