**Job overview**
This is for **a full time **post based within older adult mental health services at Birch Hill Hospital in Rochdale (HMR). The Post holder will work 3 days in the memory service which will involve 2 days doing neurocognitive testing and 1 day dedicated to post diagnostic support. The Memory Clinic team consists of 2 nurses, 1 qualified assistant practitioner, 1 Occupational Therapist, 2 support workers as well as 2 administrators and a manager. Post diagnostic support would involve working closely with the Occupational Therapist.
On the other 2 days the post holder will be working with the older people's community mental health team. This team consists of 7 nurses, 1 occupational therapist, 1 trainee mental health well-being practitioner, 1 administrator and a manager. This role will involve holding a small clinical caseload providing assessment and therapy to older adults in the community. Responsibilities will also include supporting the nurses and occupational therapist through case discussion and contributing to risk formulation.
