Self Employed Delivery Driver and Driver's Mate

**WE are looking for a self-employed driver and driver's mate to work from our Stoke Depot.**

We are looking for an experienced delivery driver and driver's mate to work mainly in the ST and CW postcodes but may reach out to surrounding areas. It is desirable for the driver to provide their own Luton van with a tail lift, although the van can be provided at a cost.

*Driver will also supply the driver’s mate who must be at least 18 years of age*

Deliveries will include white goods TVs and furniture and installs will also be required, the 2-man crew will be required to work 6 days a week; Monday to Saturday starting at 06:30a.m. until finish.

Completing between 35 and 60 delivery drops per day.

All applicants will need public liability insurance and goods in transit insurance to be considered for the role

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Previous experience of local multi-drop van deliveries.
- Driving License (clean or soon to be so).
- Good accident record.
- Knowledge of ST and CW postcode areas.
- Ability to read A-Z and journey plan daily route.
- Fit, energetic and enthusiastic
- Good Customer service standards and smart appearance.

**You must also have a range of personal skills and attributes including;**
- Flexibility
- Be a good team worker
- Disciplined
- Have Health and Safety awareness
- Good verbal communication and inter-personal skills both face to face and on telephone.
- Relationship management with others
- Stress Tolerance
- Be polite and courteous at all times

**Salary**: £400.00 per day
