**Location**: Prestwich Hospital, Prestwich, Manchester, M45 7JZ

**Hours**:Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

**Pay rate**:£ 19.10 Per Hour
- Experience of undertaking Section 42 enquiries
- Safeguarding adult expertise experience
- Hold a current registration body

**In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of**:

- Relevant Qualifications
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body

**Role responsibilities**:

- To support the adult CMHTs in the delivery of Adult Safeguarding duties as detailed in the section 75 agreement with Manchester City Council.
- To triage adult safeguarding referrals and make decisions in relation to the most appropriate response taking into consideration risk, safety and making safeguarding personal.
- To undertake Section 42 enquiries.
- To coordinate, attend and participate in strategy meetings and case conferences under adult safeguarding procedures, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to keep service-users safe.
- To document assessments/interventions and decision-making on the Trusts clinical record system.
- To escalate any areas of risk, themes to the Senior Leadership Teams.
