Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our organization. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and financial reporting requirements. You will oversee a team of auditors and collaborate with various stakeholders to provide assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management. **Responsibilities**:
Plan, execute, and manage comprehensive audit engagements, including financial, operational, and compliance audits, in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Lead a team of auditors, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality audit work.

Develop risk-based audit plans and programs, considering the organization's objectives, risks, and control environment.

Conduct thorough reviews of internal controls and identify areas of risk or weakness, making recommendations for improvements to mitigate risks.

Perform detailed testing of financial statements, transactions, and operating procedures to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Analyze and interpret complex financial data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Review and assess the effectiveness of the organization's internal control framework, recommending enhancements to strengthen controls and mitigate risks.

Collaborate with management and process owners to develop action plans and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.

Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and incorporating relevant updates into audit processes.

Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, external auditors, and regulatory bodies, effectively communicating audit findings and providing recommendations.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are strongly preferred.

Proven experience as an Audit Manager or a similar role, with a solid understanding of auditing principles, practices, and methodologies.

In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and develop appropriate audit strategies.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines.

Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of effectively leading and developing audit teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and effectively present audit findings and recommendations.

Ethical and professional conduct, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity in the audit process.

Experience in auditing within a regulated industry, such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing, is highly desirable.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
