We are looking for an Trainee VOIP Telephone Install Engineer, to support our current engineering department, with installing and maintaining Hosted/Cloud based VOIP solutions in schools and businesses around the UK.

As a trainee VOIP Installer Engineer, you will be given training with installation of Hosted/Cloud based VOIP solutions and cabling installation/termination.

**Hours**:40 hours per week

**Salary**:£20,000 per annum

**Location**: Solihull, West Midlands

**Vehicle Provided**: Yes, once trained. Long distance travel required.

**Life Insurance**: Yes

**All tools + laptop and mobile phone provided**: Yes

**Additional Training**: On the job training, with any additional courses required paid for as and when required.

**About Tel Group**:
We specialise in bespoke IT, communications and safety solutions for the education and commercial sector. Working with 1000+ schools and businesses, we have successfully improved efficiencies, widened capabilities, and reduced costs with our technology solutions.

**The applicant will**:

- Work directly for Tel Group, supporting the schools onsite.
- Installing and maintaining Hosted/Cloud based VOIP solutions and CAT5/6 cabling.
- Support our schools and businesses, by network troubleshooting Wireshark/Packet Capture.
- Require resilience and knowledge in continuing to keep to our customers’ expectations.

**Key accountabilities of the role include**:

- To provide maintenance, installation and support of Hosted/Cloud based VOIP solutions
- To provide maintenance, installation, termination and support of CAT5/6 cabling.

**To be considered for this role you should have**:

- Have a Full Driving License
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- The ability to work excellently under pressure
- Excellent decision making-skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00 per year
