**Job overview**:
**The Posture and Mobility Centre covers the boroughs of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale (HMR) and Bury and is based at Callaghan House in Rochdale.**

PMC are an innovative and dynamic team who provide assessment, treatment and advice to adults and children with complex mobility and seating needs. This post is for an Administrator position within the PMC service. You would be working in a busy office environment dealing with a variety of administrative duties.

**Main duties of the job**:

- To undertake secretarial duties in the provision of clinical correspondence and reports. This includes typing and preparation of reports using Microsoft Office package and other IT software systems.
- To record outcomes on patient management systems e.g. attended, discharged, DNAs etc.
- To arrange suitable clinical appointments in accordance with patients’ choice and send out confirmation letters to patients
- To respond pro-actively to patients’ telephone queries regarding appointments in a busy and demanding office environment
- To ensure that all patients’ details are recorded and maintained accurately on the PMC Patient Management System.
- Reception duties as required
- To input and complete basic triaging for patient referrals and queries and transfer this information to a relevant professional
- To provide cover for colleagues on annual leave or sick leave ensuring the provision of a flexible, effective and efficient service is maintained.
- To co-ordinate the booking of interpreter services where required
- To liaise with the service approved repairer and raise collections and repairs as required

- GCSE level C or above in English and Maths or equivalent

**Desirable criteria**:

- RSA3/NVQ3/ECDL/equivalent experience
- NVQ level 3 clerical administration or equivalent
- ECDL or equivalent

**Knowledge skills and Training**:

- Experience of working flexibly and switching between demands
- Ability to data input accurately
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Ability to produce work of a high standard to tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate with clinicians managers and patients
- Excellent clear telephone manner
- Highly competent IT skills

- Ability to use the Microsoft Office package competently
- Knowledge of IT systems
