Reed Leeds Business Support are exclusively working with a Leeds city centre client who are on the look out for a Centre Manager to join them on a permanent basis. A key element of the role is to have a proactive approach with the smooth running of the Centremaintaining high standards and exceptional good customer service reporting to the Area Facilities and Operations Manager.

**Job Description and Duties**:

- Immaculate appearance
- Day to day site operations responsibility, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the building and grounds at all times.
- Acting as Fire Warden and First Aider (training provided as necessary).
- Dealing with tenant queries and actively following up to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Managing service contracts and liaising with, and supervision of, contractors and suppliers e.g. maintenance, repairs, cleaning, landscaping etc
- Liaising with Area Facilities and Operation Manager to ensure Health and Safety procedures are observed.
- Obtaining quotes for, overseeing and signing off required works and services and/or making purchases as required.
- Responding to enquiries from prospective tenants, conducting occasional office viewings and liaising with agents.
- Management of the telephony and internet system.
- Proactive involvement with Head Office property team and contractors with the delivery of tenant fit outs.
- Preparing annual service charge budget, periodic retendering of contracts and ensuring value for money, in liaison with the Area Facilities and Operations Manager.
- As required working closely with the Area Facilities and Operations Manager helping with the smooth running of unmanaged business centres.
- Recruitment of permanent/temporary centre staff
- Acting as primary key holder for any emergency situations and attending site as necessary.
- Flexibility is required for occasional out of hours working.
- Other duties as may be required to ensure the smooth running of the Business Centre.

- Must be able to work without supervision and on own their initiative.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Clear understanding of good customer service.
- Well organised and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Excellent English and communication skills.
- Confident to promote the centre and interact with a range of tenants, visitors and contractors.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
- You will be educated to A level standard, plus minimum GCSE Maths and English B grade and/or with relevant qualifications e.g. CIEH H&S level 2+.
- IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sales experience an advantage.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation an advantage.
- Building management and facilities experience is required.

Essential. Hours: 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, with one hour for lunch.
