**About this Role**:
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust as our Trust Inclusion Leader.

The Diocese of Salisbury Academies Trust (DSAT) consists of 24 primary schools and is entering an exciting phase of further growth and as such we are looking to expand our Academy Improvement Team with the creation of this new post.

This is a key position within our organisation; reporting to the Deputy CEO you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and guidance to all DSAT schools with particular reference to safeguarding, behaviour, diversity, equality, vulnerable children (incl. Looked After Children and PP eligible) and SEND.

**Your key duties will include**:

- Lead and manage inclusion across the Trust in line with our vision and aims
- Take the role of Trust Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Work in partnership with Headteachers to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners
- Ensure that the Trust reflects a vibrant and inclusive ethos, which actively values and promotes diversity, unity and community cohesion
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with local authorities and other external agencies
- Provide a strategic link to Trust SENDCos and other inclusion leaders
- Undertake quality reviews of inclusion provision (PP, SEND) alongside Headteachers and communicate findings to key stakeholders including Academy Standards and Ethos Committees (ASECs) and Trustees
- Support and advise schools in positive behaviour management systems and strategies and in the development of their behaviour curriculum
- Ensure that a culture of safeguarding permeates all aspects of the Trusts work
- Source, create and deliver Collaborative Professional Learning relating to inclusion, equality, safeguarding and behaviour as required
- Learn from the best of research and effective practice locally and nationally and use this knowledge to develop provision for DSAT schools
