Voyonic Crew Management Group are looking for a bookkeeping and payroll administrator to join our small, tight knit team based on Newcastle’s Quayside to assist with accounts.

Duties for this role will include but are not limited to the following:

- Carrying out daily and monthly requirements of the client book-keeping processes, ensuring these are done accurately and on time in accordance with client SLA’s.
- Produce payments using online banking and BACS files for all salary payments/liabilities.
- Ensure BACS and International schedules are implemented and carry out daily checks to make certain that all payments have been met.
- Provide reports in relation to the daily and monthly processes, to include updating of relevant checklists.
- Monitoring of cash balances and funds received, including returned payments, taking appropriate action as required.
- Liaise with clients to ensure timely receipt of funds and payment of payroll and other liabilities.
- Receiving and processing supplier invoices.
- Raising and processing invoices according to standard procedures.
- Liaising with the bank in respect of any issues or queries.
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Investigating client queries in relation to the above tasks.
- Filing and scanning as appropriate for all of above functions.
- Training of colleagues in the book-keeping element of the core process and resolving day to day issues
- Review and check payments and invoices.
- Preparing letters and other documents as appropriate for all of above functions.

**Experience**

You should have previous administrative experience within an office environment with an understanding of basic Book-keeping and/or payroll as well as previous experience of using Xero or similar software package, although in-house training will be provided. Good communication and a drive to excel are key to this role.

The role is based at our office on Newcastle's Quayside in modern offices overlooking the Tyne.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
