We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of **Transfer Agent and Distribution Senior Associate.**

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the TA and Distributor Manager with tasks relating to the conformance of HMG and its products with HSBC Global Standards and regulatory obligations, including primary responsibility for AML/CFT matters, onboarding and maintenance of investors/other parties and client and general tax reporting obligations. All staff are responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the controls that are in place to manage the risks in the processes and activities that they undertake in their day to day role.

**In this role, you will**:

- Work with HSBC Securities Services (Ireland) Limited (HSSI), as transfer agent to the HMG-managed funds, in relation to investor onboarding and maintenance in conformance with HSBC Global Standards and Guernsey regulatory requirements.
- AML/CFT projects, including analysis of CDD/KYD files and risk reviews for Investors, Distributors and other client types.
- Onboarding and maintenance of relationships with HSBC and third party distributors of HMG’s products, associated parties and affiliates (including AML/CFT) in conformance with HSBC Global Standards and Guernsey regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory and Management reporting.
- Participating in due diligence on outsource service providers and other parties.
- Management of HMG’s client and general tax reporting obligations, including FATCA, CRS, Guernsey exempt tax status.
- Work collaboratively across peer group and HSBC fostering strong relationships with other business areas and across the wider HSBC Group locations and Global Businesses

Requirements

**To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements**:

- A minimum of five years’ experience working in a financial or trust industry.
- AML/CFT-focused role experience is advantageous.
- The ability to establish good working relationships.
- Proven analytical skills, together with the ability to support decisions with sound reasoning.
- The ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing and in particular to make recommendations.
- The ability to work under own initiative, in a timely manner and to deadlines.
- A mature approach towards dealing with sensitive and confidential information and situations.
