The HR Consultant helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by providing a business-focussed employee relations service to managers and staff, enabling employees to be their best self and contribute fully to the organisation.

For this role you’ll be working 35 hours per week, worked 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We are looking for you to attend the office at least 2/3 days per week, the remainder of your week may be spent working from home.

**Essential**
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in generalist HR, including end to end Employee Relations activity: providing advice on employment related issues and managing a diverse caseload of ER activity.
- Delivering training to people managers.
- Supporting organisational change including consultation.
- Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and potential future developments.
- Demonstrable coaching / mediation or facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to build highly effective and collaborative working relationships with line managers and senior managers.
- Proven ability to coach managers & the wider HR team in order to develop their capability and reach positive outcomes.
- Proven and demonstrable strong advisory skills.
- Demonstrable ability to manage own workload and prioritise competing priorities.
