**Hours: 40.5 hours per + sleep ins**

Our Children’s home is located in Colne (BB8) at the end of the M65 Motorway, this home is easily accessible from areas of East Lancashire, including Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, Nelson & Clitheroe, in addition to surrounding areas such as Keighley, Skipton & Ilkley. Our children's home is a 3 bedded therapeutic service, for girls aged 11-17.

This residential home has high aspirations for the children that it supports and is an established service. In this role you will be working shifts, assisting the young people in all aspects of everyday life. You will be provided with a full suite of training and a robust induction programme provided by our award-winning learning and development team. You will also have your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare paid for if you do not already hold this qualification.

The Young People who reside in the home attend school which is in a separate building on-site Monday to Thursday full days, and a half day on Fridays.

**As a Residential Support Worker, you will have the following**:

- The desire and passion to safeguard, motivate, and inspire the young people in your care.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, managers, in addition to working closely alongside other external professionals.
- The characteristics and personality to handle challenging behaviour effectively and professionally.
- Shift work including weekends, evenings & sleep in duties.
