**Job description**

Crossling are the North’s leading independent Plumbing and Pipeline Merchants. We have the following exciting opportunity for a proactive person to join our successful organisation within our Ashington Branch.

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team.
- The main duties include:_
- Driving a 3.5 tonne delivery vehicle
- Gaining warehouse and trade counter experience to develop product knowledge
- Booking in stock including use of a forklift truck and other warehouse duties
- Dealing with customer orders and queries
- Building relationships with customers
- Provide an efficient and professional service for customers

**Person Specification**
- Be flexible, well organised, confident and outgoing
- Have an excellent telephone manner
- Have a good standard of written English and strong verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to work confidently using your own initiative and be able to prioritise and organise workloads with support and instruction
- Have a smart, and professional appearance
- Be able to work well in a team and get along with colleagues
- Have a minimum of 3 GCSE passes of A*- C in English and Maths
- Experience of the plumbing industry would be advantageous
- Clean driving licence is essential

**Management and Supervision**
You will report to the Branch Manager who will be able to train you effectively in the areas required.

**Progression**

**Working Week**
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week - 8.00am to 5.00pm with one hour lunch.
