**Quality Control Inspector **required for a furniture manufacturing business in Morley, Leeds.

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit an experienced quality control inspector to join their team.

Our client is a well-established company, they offer an opportunity to a rapidly growing business, which offer career progression opportunities.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role requires you to support teams in manufacturing and warehouse areas. The main objective of the role is to ensure all products are final inspected before being dispatched. It's a physically demanding role, our client manufactures furniture, large and small, which will need man-handling, inspecting, packing, wrapping and either storing or loading onto transport. This is the final chance to check the product a customer receives is in perfect condition.

**Job Purpose**:
To support both the production team and the warehouse team to achieve order fulfilment to the highest standards.

Performing full quality control checks on products, positioning protective corners for transporting, packaging and wrapping, sticking correct labels and paperwork, storing items or loading items for despatch.

Provide assistance to the wood machinists

Occasional use of the counter balance FLT, so a RTITB or ITSAR Counter balance licence is required.

Use the computer system to put stock into location and get a pick list to fulfil customer orders.

Work with supervisors and management to implement plans for continuous improvement in the factory and comply with the manufacturing and Quality standards required.

**Experience and skills required**:
Previous experience of Quality Inspection and Quality processers.

Good level of fitness and ability to lift furniture all day every day.

Counter Balance FLT licence

Previous experience of using a work computer system to understand orders in progress.

Excellent timekeeping and attendance.

To work with all staff in maintaining 5s standards, and operate a 'clean as you go' regime aimed at providing an 'any visit, any time' standard.

**Hours of work**:
Monday - Thursday 07.30am - 4.45pM/Friday 7.30am - 11.30am

**Pay & Benefits**:
£13 per hour depending on experience
