Job Description:
Join a renowned Precision Engineered Component Manufacturer in Leeds, a company celebrated for its long history of excellence and an outstanding workplace culture. We are currently seeking skilled Quality Inspectors to join our client's dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a thriving business that values precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate Mitutoyo CMM machines to conduct precise inspections of components.
- Perform detailed inspections and quality checks on components, ensuring they meet stringent industry and customer standards.
- Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings to assess product specifications and tolerances.
- Document inspection results and report any deviations from quality standards.
- Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Contribute to maintaining the company’s reputation for high-quality precision engineering by ensuring all products meet required specifications.
Qualifications:
- Experience in operating and programming Mitutoyo CMM machines.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a precision engineering environment is highly desirable.
