**Head of Finance | Dartford - Hybrid | £70k - £85k DOE**

Fantastic opportunity to join a manufacturing retail business with an iconic brand who are entering an exciting phase with the development of new products, and a brand new factory and Head Office. Backed by investment from the parent company, this companyis preparing for significant growth in the coming years.

The role will report directly to the CFO/MD and will offer the opportunity to step up into a Director of Finance position within the next 2 years.

**Key objectives**:

- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
- Provide timely and accurate monthly management financial reporting and KPI’s to the Executive management team.
- Lead the preparation of the year end and interim audit files and all annual statutory financial reporting.
- Control all aspects of day to day treasury and banking control and provide short and medium term cash requirements planning.
- Be the first point of contact for all banking and other financial lenders relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of the ERP system and lead long term system development to drive business improvements.
- Assist with the deployment of new warehouse management systems and direct the warehouse and production control team leaders to deliver efficiencies in working capital utilisation across all aspects of inventory.
- Help shape the vision and strategy, develop, long range plans of the finance functions of the business and assist other departments with improvements where input from finance is required.

**Key relationships**:
In addition to the CFO/MD, you will be required to develop strong working relationships with the other departmental managers and the Executive team in order to fulfil the full potential of the role.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Relevant accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Previous experience of a production / complex Bill of Material environment highly desireable

**Key Competencies**:

- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to provide leadership and mentorship;
- Good communicator;
- Advanced excel and data analysis skills;
- Previous knowledge of ERP systems an advantage;
- SQL query knowledge also an advantage;
