**About us**

Questar Auto UK is a provider of Telematics and other driver performance & operational improvement tools. Our portfolio includes customers from central government, councils, police forces, fire services and NHS organisations. We also supply services to many commercial organisations such as vehicle manufacturers, insurance providers, leasing & rental companies, utilities, passenger transport providers, vehicle importers and fleet owners.

**Purpose of the Job**
- Work with external and internal development teams to ensure the correct software/hardware solution is delivered to the end user as per the technical requirements and provide training documentation/training to internal departments.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Become the center of technical knowledge.
- Create and/or revise existing documentation on a regular basis to ensure relevance. All documentation must be recorded on the CRM system.
- Test and validate new products, features, and firmware while ensuring comprehensive documentation is shared with relevant departments internal and external. All aspects of the product must be checked to ensure field release suitability.
- Perform regular Client setup Audits to ensure accurate and relevant data is provided.
- Work with Customer Support & Engineering teams to identify, diagnose and resolve service issues, ensuring that our wider teams always have the tools to excel in their roles.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Create training courses and customised education materials.
- Ensure Technical Manager and Customer Support team are kept up to date with any changes or new settings.
- Assist with new vehicle reverse engineering platform configuration.

**Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications Required**
- Basic knowledge of networking (ISO-OSI, API) consist of an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols (serial, CAN-bus, etc).
- Experience using hand tools and measurement tools (multimeter).
- Flexibility to adapt, promote change and learn new skills, concepts, and processes.
- Ability to self-sufficiently prioritise and adjust to conflicting demands, able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills. Confident in presenting to people of all audiences across business functions.
- Familiarity with our industry is a plus.
- Experience using MS Office software and web-based remote support tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.
- Attention to detail and process driven.
- Enthusiastic with a Can-Do attitude.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
