Community Phlebotomist

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Phlebotomist to work within our Community Phlebotomy Service. This role will involve working in clinic sessions and undertaking home visits. You will cover a large geographical area and will be expected to work at clinics within Beeston, Stapleford and Eastwood. You will also undertake home visits to house bound patients who live in these areas. To provide high quality evidence based care to patients / service users that is responsive, effective and efficient To facilitate and support discharge and prevent inappropriate admissions by supporting patients / service user to remain as independent as possible and maintain or improve their level of function and quality of life.
This post requires a friendly, flexible person who is able to work on their initiative but also works as part of a team. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a variety of care settings. It should be noted that this is an exceptionally busy service, so you will need to have good organisational and time management skills. You will need to have good IT skills and be computer literate. Previous phlebotomy experience is essential.
