We are seeking a Environmental Services Officer to support the activities of the Environmental Services team by developing projects which deliver outcomes which educate, raise awareness, and improve the environment in which we all live.

**You will**:

As our Environmental Services Officer, you will:

- Work in partnership to develop the waste and recycling collection, street cleansing and grounds maintenance service
- Work in partnership to research, develop and implement initiatives to reduce recycling contamination, litter and fly tipping
- Liaise with the contractor on service requests
- Liaise with the Corporate Health & Safety Advisor, undertake and complete monitoring of the waste and recycling, street cleansing, and grounds maintenance services, to ensure health and safety compliance
- Undertake and complete monitoring, statistical analysis, and evaluation of waste collection, street cleansing grounds maintenance services, including the performance of initiatives and campaigns
- Assist and liaise with stakeholders in the research and development of policies, utilising best practice and benchmarking results
