**About the role**:
Contracts are available on either a teaching and research basis or a teaching focussed basis.

On a teaching and research contract, you would pursue and publish research of the highest quality in line with the Schools objectives of producing internationally excellent research with a meaningful societal impact. As part of this, you will be expected to secure, in collaboration with colleagues as appropriate, external funding through research grants or contracts to support a developing research agenda.

As a teaching focused lecturer, you would engage in scholarship and publication that enhances teaching and learning in Law and the pedagogical resources for teaching law. You will be expected to deliver excellent teaching and student support, and to pursue innovation and enhancement in student learning and experience with a view to ensuring outstanding student satisfaction.

In addition to the above, on both contracts, you will carry out administration and other activities that contribute to, and support, the work of the School in developing its strategies, improving its practices and enhancing its reputation, both internal and external to the University.
