The Leicester Law School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Canadian Law to support the School’s teaching activities. We are particularly looking for candidates to enhance our provision of Canadian Law modules, including Foundations of Canadian Law and Canadian Constitutional Law, as well as delivering teaching on our other core and optional modules at undergraduate level on our various LLB programmes.
You will be confident inreviewing, evaluating and developing the key skills of students, working to provide world class teaching and learning opportunities and regularly collecting and responding to student feedback. This role is available on either our Teaching Focussed or Professionals in Practice academic career pathway. As the ideal candidate you will have experience in the practice of law in either England and Wales or Canada, or hold a PhD in law. You may not necessarily have higher education teaching experience, but be able to demonstrate some experience in the teaching and training of others and a commitment to developing your own teaching skills.
