Green Gardeners was established in 2012 and is a small, highly professional and rapidly growing gardening and grounds maintenance company striving to become the number one gardening company in Birmingham and Solihull.

We provide regular gardening services, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, border maintenance, and gutter cleaning, to both commercial and residential customers.

Some of our commercial customers include Starbucks, several children’s nurseries and colleges, charities, and The Arcadian Centre

**Job Information**

The role will suite an ambitious person who is looking to advance their career and progress to a Team Leader role as this business grows.

This is a hands-on role for a gardener. You will be part of a team of 2/3 visiting customers providing a regular gardening service for them. As the business grows, we would be looking for you to take on more responsibility.

You will have excellent communication skills along with an ambition for advancement to lead a team.

This role requires a hands on approach and initiative as you need to be able to look at a garden and recognise what work needs to be carried out

Due to the nature of the role, you will be working longer hours during the busier months in the summer and autumn and shorter hours during the winter months, when there is winter work.

**Responsibilities**
- Dealing with the gardening requirements of the customers and clients that you visit
- working as a team of 2 or 3
- Providing a high quality service for all our customers

**Requirements**:

- Full driving license (no more than 3 points) and be able to get to our base in Solihull or
Edgbaston
- Previous experience of gardening or a keen interest in gardening

Able to show initiative and problem solve

Be able to build good customer relations
- Gardening qualifications desirable but not essential
- Computer literate specifically word documents and excel
- Good communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
