Team Lead (Progression Service Manager)

**Location**: Area/Remote with occasional travel - (covering North East, Yorkshire & Humber and South East)

**Salary**:£31,434 per annum ( full time permanent - 37 hours per week)

This role sits in the Careers and Employability division of Education Development Trust and is a permanent position. This role will be managing a remote team of progression coordinators, scheduling activities to support moving National Careers Service customers into jobs or learning via digital interactions. Using data to prioritise activity across regional teams.

Whilst this role will be managing a team dispersed across the country there is an expectation of remote working by the whole team. There will be occasions where travel is necessary. There may also be a need to work outside normal office hours.

**Knowledge**

Essential:

- Knowledge of evaluation methods and how to measure impact of activities
- Understanding of and a commitment to equality of opportunity for all

Desirable:

- Experience of the career guidance, employability or education sectors
- Knowledge of local labour market and issues relating to learning and employment
- Knowledge of social & social media in a working environment

**Experience**

Essential:

- Experience of working in a target driven environment
- Experience of using a range of media to support individuals
- People and Team Management
- Problem solving and process review and development**
