**About the role**:

- We are currently looking for highly motivated and passionate Billing Support Agents to join us on a permanent & contract basis to provide back-up assistance to a busy, dynamic and growing department, helping to service our expanding business and customer base.**Main areas of responsibility**:

- Act as the first point of contact for all customer interaction, ensuring billing queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Ensure the accurate processing of all issues relating to Billing enquiries
- Manage instances of customer dissatisfaction in line with codes of practice
- Actively help and assist customers experiencing financial difficulties and provide signposting and support when applicable
- Carry out administrative duties as directed in managing key process areas within the customer journey (generate and review bills, account reviews, Direct Debit processing)
- Ensures efficient flow of information between all key teams on the customer facing side of the business
- To be aware of and comply with all company policies and procedures, and those pertinent to the supply of Electricity in both jurisdictions of Ireland- energy, telecoms or financial services. Strong experience in customer service/ billing or credit control is essential.- This person must possess a professional phone manner and want their work to have a positive impact. They will have excellent communication skills- with a strong customer focus in their work, and will require Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.- - Budget Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
