**We are currently recruiting for a Fitness Supervisor at Rookery Hall Hotel, Nantwich.**

**Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa **is a 4 Red Star Hotel with 69 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant and bar and a busy Health Club & Spa.

**About the role**:
We are looking for a warm, friendly and proactive Fitness Supervisor to join our team at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa on a Full-Time basis. This is a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.

As Fitness Supervisor you will work between the hours of 6am and 10pm and will include working weekends on a rota basis. Shifts can range from an early shift from 06.00am-2.30pm or 1.30pm-10.00pm.

This role will involve a combination of fitness duties such as leading our Welcome to Wellness gym inductions and covering group fitness classes in our busy studio and Functional Training Zone. You will help to train and develop the fitness team and be qualified and competent in delivering in-house Personal Training. You'll manage the day to day operations of the pool and spa plant and heat experiences, e.g. sauna and steam room. You will be responsible for the rota for the fitness team to ensure the demands of the business are met.

As the Fitness Supervisor you will lead by example and be responsible for the Fitness and Class Instructors to ensure a high degree of member care.

In this role as Fitness Supervisor you will support the management team in all areas of the Health club and spa. This will include opening and closing the operation, ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times including in the pool area.

**About you**:

- You will be full of enthusiasm and love talking to people (regardless of whether it’s a morning or evening shift)
- You’ll enjoy motivating others and feel confident acting as an expert to give suitable advice on health and fitness that will match peoples individual goals and aspirations.
- You’ll have level 2 pool testing qualifications or ideally level 3 pool plant, however this is desirable and full training can be provided.
- Be able to lead and motivate the fitness team and class instructors and be happy to be hands on in the operation.
- You will be passionate about standards of cleanliness and able to inspire others.
- You’ll be organised and able to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
- Most of all, you’ll have a friendly, welcoming and positive approach.
