My client is in the midst of a transformation programme, modernising their digital capabilities and enabling a service model that is fit for the future.

The role of Head of IT Service Delivery is critical in delivering and embedding this change and managing the service delivery of information technology (IT) services.

You will support the Chief Information Officer by implementing their vision and strategy for enterprise service management, providing strategic direction and leadership of digital service delivery and assuring supplier performance.

The Head of IT Service Delivery will represent the IT service management capability at a senior level and act as an escalation point for business stakeholders.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- The ability to lead, influence and motivate colleagues in the delivery of digital services.
- Skills and capabilities drawn from a career in IT Service.
- The experience of management of a large supplier.
- The ability to communicate effectively across organisational, technical and political boundaries, understanding the context and successfully reacting and responding to challenge.
- Experience delivering IT services using an end-to-end operating model for the creation, delivery and continual improvement of tech-enabled products.
- Experience being a change leader with demonstrable skills & experience in supporting people to grow & achieve their goals.

**Qualifications**

Essential:

- ITIL certified to practitioner level
- Government Commercial College Contract Management certified to expert level.

Desirable:

- An expert certificate in a Service Management Framework qualification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £70,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
