**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Head of Admissions & Marketing and the Senior Communications & Marketing Executive with regards to communications, admissions and marketing plans. For example, the internal digital weekly newsletter ‘The Link’, social media posts, commissioned photography, designing and creating leaflets and staff written articles for publications.
- Assist the Senior Communications & Marketing Executive (SCME) with producing a marketing insight into independent and state school trends, using the research data to feed into marketing decisions.
- Assisting with SEO strategy and PPC campaigns.
- Assist the SCME in deciding how to target prospective families - where and what works for the different platforms e.g. online and offline.
- Assist the Head of Admissions and SCME to engage with various members of staff and departments to source news stories for social media posts/termly publications/press/case studies.
- Assist the SCME and PR Consultant to write copy for use on social media, in school publications and the website.
- Assist the SCME with the school website, general updating and ensuring the website is accurate and ‘on brand’ at all times.
- Issue invitations, manage responses and keep a record of attendees for a number of school events and utilise online event management tools such as Eventbrite.
- Attend various in-house meetings with the SCME and senior members of staff when looking at marketing plans, timelines, campaigns etc.
- Assist the Admissions Team with MIS administration.
- Update the internal monitors (for example Yodeck) with key events and marketing information for students and staff.
- Assist the team to work within an agreed budget.
- Be willing to learn all aspects of how Bradford Grammar School works, the ethos of the school and how marketing feeds into the success of admissions and pupil recruitment.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Head of Admissions & Marketing and the Headmaster.

Entry requirements
- A good grade in GCSE and/or A Level English will be required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outgoing, confident person who will be comfortable liaising with various stakeholders including to parents, guests and staff
- In order to be eligible for the apprenticeship, you must have achieved a C/4 or above in GCSE Maths AND English.
- An eye for detail.
- Highly organised.
- Creative.
- Ability to work individually and enjoy being part of a busy team.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Committed to continuous professional development.
- Possess a positive ‘can do’ attitude and be happy to pitch in where and when needed.

Training to be provided

You will undertake the ground breaking Apprentify Digital Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship.

We have designed our programme to offer you 4 distinct routes to focus your career path and specialise in areas such as Social Media, Search Engine Marketing, Web Design or Web Development. These paths are designed to jump start your career and make you stand out in a competitive field increasing your future earning potential.

During the 15 months of training you will learn cutting edge theory and industry practice across three Knowledge Modules:
Marketing Principles - starting with the basics you will learn how to effectively target customers based on their wants and desires as well as how the sales and marketing funnels work. You will understand what makes customers buy or not buy and how marketing can influence this as well as how to effectively focus on target markets and manage customers to make them loyal to a business.

How the Web Works - delving into the technical you will learn the Principles of Coding and how marketers create effective web sites, designs and user interfaces. This includes how web design and development drive engagement and conversions.
